How it all began...
We started making copper hearts at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, when the UK was put into lockdown.
Dan was put on furlough by his employer and was asked by a family member to make them a copper heart. It quickly escalated to more family and friends wanting our hearts, so he decided to use his free time and sell copper hearts to raise money for local charities who were struggling due to cancelled fundraising events.
We have since raised more than £10,000 for charities in the Midlands area and we thank you all so much for your support! More details can be seen on our charity donations page.
We now have a variety of products for sale and we love to hear your ideas too! So get in touch if you have an idea of something you would like made.
HEARTS FOR HOPE
Handmade items made from copper pipe
I was looking for presents that meant something this year and also made a difference to others in our community; I think Hearts of Hope are perfect. I can’t wait to hear what my friends and family think of their gifts. Keep up the good work Dan and Lyndsey.
As a nurse, I was looking for a little gift for my mum, dad and 2 sisters to thank them for their ongoing support through this difficult year, but also wanted a reminder of how the community stuck together through 2020! The copper hearts are perfect! So beautiful and what’s even better is I’m not only supporting a local business but also local charities. What more could I ask for! From the bottom of my heart thank you for making these beautiful pieces of work but also all you are doing for such good causes! You have a heart of gold x
